Carving pumpkins on Hallowe'en
We carved pumpkins on Hallowe'en this year instead of going trick or treating. With Tatus' busy, busy work schedule, it was hard to find an evening where we could all just sit around the table.
I started carving mine first, and then Tatus gave you a closer look:

Brushing teeth
We recently started a routine of brushing your teeth before bed. I probably got on this way too late, but your teeth are still pearly white so I'm not to worried. Now that you are getting molars, though, it's good we are sticking to a schedule.
Brushing your teeth is tricky. You just want to suck the toothpaste off the brush. We mash the toothpaste into the brush so you can't just eat it all in one go, but you end up getting it all anyway. So we have to be fast to get your teeth brushed while there's still some toothpaste to brush them with.
After we are done and have rinsed your brush, we let you practice and we show you how we brush our teeth. That's what Tatus is doing here. Notice the grip you have on his toothpaste tube.

Our little bookworm
Tip #1
When Tatus is utterly pooped from work and really needs a nap while you need to make dinner...
Give your LB some metal and/or plastic things from the kitchen to bang and play with (thus imitating you in the kitchen) while you prepare dinner. Worked like a charm for me!
Then, when all the banging by your little helper wakes Tatus up and he offers to peel the potatoes and carrot, sit with your LB and relax.
