Crawling leads to walking... so quickly!!
There's no mistaking it--you are full-on crawling now. It's only happened in the last 3-4 days and already it's obvious that crawling only serves one purpose to you: to get to something, anything that you can then grab and use to pull yourself up into a standing position. I don't think you'll ever view crawling as a mode of transportation, walking is where it's at for you--and I have a feeling it's just around the corner.
Your tatus and I are continually amazed at how strong you are, how determined, how inquisitive, and how quickly your mobility is progressing. I only had one month where I could sit you down on the floor amidst your toys and you would play without moving. Now, it's the bookshelves, the couch, and the stove that are interesting.

She crawls!
You just took your first "steps" crawling! Before, you hadn't wanted to lift your hands while on your hands and kness. But these past couple of days, we have seen you experimentally balancing on just one hand, mostly in a leaning sitting position. I guess today you decided you were strong enough--we were playing on our bed and you looked towards the edge of it, got up on your hands and knees, lifted and moved your right hand forward, then your knees, then your left hand. You went about a foot, but it was definitely crawling!!

Starting to crawl
Tonight you started scootching your knees forward while on your hands and knees, moving a little bit forward at a time to reach your giraffe toy. It was only about two weeks ago that you started supporting yourself on your hands and knees, and already you are figuring out how to move! You are one smart cookie. :)
